Submissions Guidelines:
Participants must be adults with I/DD.
Participants must live in Oregon.
Limit 1 submission per person.
No group submissions.
Accepted art includes drawings, paintings, photos, digital art, and mixed media
Artwork Requirements:
Must reflect the theme: What does LOVE look like?
Must be original and created by the participant
Must be appropriate for all audiences
No copyrighted images can be used (characters, logos, copied artwork, or AI-generated)
High quality photos or scans are encouraged
No hate speech, discriminatory content, or harmful language
Images must not depict illegal activities, explicit sexual images or violence
Boundaries and Beyond reserves the right to disqualify any submissions that do not adhere to these standards or our mission and values.

How Winners are Selected
Artwork will be reviewed by a Boundaries & Beyond selection committee based on:

Permissions to Use Artwork:
By submitting artwork, participants give Boundaries & Beyond permission to:
Display artwork online, in print, and at events related to the contest
Share artwork on websites, social media, fundraising campaigns, and promotional materials
Use selected artwork on merchandise and organizational materials
Participants understand that artwork may appear publicly in digital or printed formats. Artists will be credited whenever reasonably possible unless anonymity is requested.
Production & Design Adjustments:
Boundaries & Beyond may make small adjustments to artwork for printing, accessibility, formatting, or merchandise production. Adjustments may include:
Resizing or cropping
Adjusting colors or contrast
Removing backgrounds
Formatting artwork for merchandise layouts
Adding organizational branding or text
We will make reasonable efforts to preserve the original meaning and style of the artwork.
Copyright & Merchandise Use:
Participants confirm that submitted artwork is their original creation and does not violate the rights of others.
Selected artwork may be used for merchandise, marketing, fundraising, educational, and awareness purposes related to Boundaries & Beyond. Merchandise sales may support nonprofit programs, scholarships, outreach, and educational services.
Participants retain personal rights to their artwork while granting Boundaries & Beyond ongoing permission for approved organizational use. Artists will not receive additional payment from merchandise sales beyond contest prizes unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
Final Agreement:
By submitting artwork to the Boundaries & Beyond Design Contest, I understand and agree that:
The artwork submitted is my original creation
My submission does not include copied artwork, copyrighted characters, logos, or AI-generated content created by others
Boundaries & Beyond may display my artwork online, in print, at events, and on merchandise or promotional materials
Boundaries & Beyond may make small changes to artwork for printing, accessibility, formatting, or production purposes
Merchandise featuring selected artwork may be sold to support nonprofit programs and educational services
I will not receive additional payment from merchandise sales beyond contest prizes unless otherwise agreed to in writing
Boundaries & Beyond may publicly credit my name unless I request anonymity
Boundaries & Beyond may decline submissions that do not follow contest guidelines or community standards
